Not too long later I got dealing with Gerard, Fiona and Sinead Fegan and Gene Woods all from Kilkerley who told me that Gerard's son James plays with the team and they were eager for a monumental night. I then got talking to Owenie Bellew from Kilkerley who was there with Fidelma Bellew who is married to Seamus from Ballinurd and they told me they were really looking towards the night. I then got a quick word with Gerry and Mary McElroy from Kilkerley who were with their son Donal and his girlfriend Nicola Griffin from Blackrock who told me they were certainly going to make the most advantageous of the night for certain. Next I caught up with Eugene and Geraldine McGeough from Kennedy's Bar and Eugene told me he was part of the committee and was really awaiting the night. Just in the door I met up with Ray Quinn from Ballinurd who told me he was there without Jane who couldn't make it because she had a throat infection and he wanted to tell her he was contemplating of her. After this I caught up with Johnny and Mary Quigley from Kilkerley and Johnny told me he had played with Kilkerley when they were in the senior final in '76 was part of the '82 team that narrowly lost the '82 final and the team that beat Cooley in the '80 final and was pumped up about a good night with the rest of the supporters. Not too long later I then got talking to Helen Litchfield and Willie Kinney both from Kilkerley who have there been with Colm and Concepta Marry from Knockbridge, Vincent and Irene Litchfield and Paul and Regina Litchfield all from Kilkerley who were up for making the very best of the dinner dance. Next I got a word with David and Noeleen Mulholland from Kilkerley who told me they have there been to support their favourite team. As being a, Before we departed I caught up with Richard and Nuala and Tom and Leona Mulholland all from Kilkerley and they told me they were really getting excited about a great night.
